Teaching is the best job in the world.  I enjoy spending each and every day with 3rd Graders!!

I have an awesome family.  You wlll get to meet them throughout the school year.  My husband’s name is Mike and he is a farmer and school bus driver.  He will come in to teach Bus Safety to all of 3rd grade.  We have 3 children, Jarod is 26, Jon is 24 and Michaela “Mikey” is 20. Jarod lives in Roseau and works for Coca-Cola.  He got married this summer on our family farm east of Roseau.  His wife, Maranda, will be working with the technology department and library at the school this year. Jon is teaching Performing Arts at The Twin Cities German Immersion School in St. Paul.  They learn the same subjects in his school, but the only difference is that they speak German instead of English. Mikey is a junior at Bemidji State University and she is planning to be an Elementary Teacher.
